Now it is quite the dump, I agree. Next time go to Lollipop Cuts for Kids Too. It's in Granite Bay so a little bit of a trek for you guys, but it's a super fun place. The kids sit in a truck (or car or motorcycle or whatever they pick) to get their hair cut and there is a whole toy area for them to play in. They can watch cartoons or a movie (or play video games) while they get their hair cut. Connor loves it. That place was awesome… when I was little. Now it is quite the dump, I agree.
