We had a great trip to Lake Tahoe to celebrate Christmas with Jennifer’s mom and her boyfriend Les. The drive up was beautiful with blue skies, crisp air and plenty of snow. The trip was full of “firsts” for Jacob.
- He had his first experience with freezing weather (he does not prefer it)
- He got his first owie when he grabbed a soda can and sliced his finger on the mouth part (touch it yourself, it’s sharp!)
- He touched snow for the first time. He liked it and grabbed at it again and again.
- He had his first overnight stay in a hotel. We brought the pack and play for him to sleep in and all of us suffered. The heating wasn’t working correctly and Jacob wet his sleep sack on the first night. There has to be a better way than the pack and play.
