Jennifer took me on a great trip to Amador County wine country today. We have taken trips to Napa, but never to Amador. It’s only about 40 minutes from our house and is a beautiful drive. We got there around noon and spent hours wine tasting and walking around. Jennifer surprised me with a picnic out in a quiet vineyard.

TrackbackSo my boss, another co-worker and I were sitting in an office ready to call into a teleconference. If you’re not familiar with how this works, you call a central toll-free number and log in with a participant passcode. Well we called the toll-free number and were greeted with a female voice saying the “live chat is another number, please call 800-xxx-xxxx.”
At this point we started joking about how funny it would be if the number was a sex chat phone number. We dial the new number to log in… wait… “live horny girls are waiting to get steamy”…blah blah blah. We absolutely lost it! The insurance industry is known to be fairly conservative and being a part of a major corporation we are very aware of policy, which made it even funnier! It turns out the teleconference leader put 800 rather than 866, oops!
